Good point. Now that AMD knows that Intel will have 65nm gates at .13u, they are no doubt trying to do one better. With 70nm gates on their .18u process, doing the same at .13u would make a very sorry looking TBred. They are no doubt trying to shrink it to 65nm or 60nm. I'm not sure how much farther they can go, but maybe it's taking them a while to reduce defect levels.

Was there any mention of whether or not this was the bulk or SOI process??? I'd presume bulk, but I could be wrong.

I posted the entire article. My guess is this is not the SOI process BWDIK?
