No, he was probably right about Intel's raw material purchases, but some of us thought he was probably wrong to link that to shortages in demand. Intel is at a point where they aim to increase fab capacity tremendously. Buying less photoresist and other raw materials sets up a red flag, but we don't know what the cause is. One possibility is that maybe Intel was already well supplied with these materials to begin with. I just don't think one or two months of changing habits when it comes to purchasing raw materials necessarily means anything significant.

Regarding AMD's .13u process, I don't think it does anything more than confirm what we already knew, and that is no .13u chips this quarter, and probably a late release next quarter.
