1999/4/27 - Kelowna First Customer of Property-ID Application

April 27, 1999, Vancouver - President & C.E.O. Iain Drummond announced the first purchase of the Imagis' Property-ID Solution to the Kelowna Detachment of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.

Imagis' Property-ID ensures accurate and secure evidence documentation and chain of custody tracking, allowing police professionals the ability to track, classify and locate incident/offence-related evidence easily and securely. Project highlights include the delivery of a fully integrated solution with a client/server Property-ID Custodian, Property-ID Mobile software, designed specifically for the collection of evidence from a mobile terminal and portable barcode reader/signature capture hardware. The Property-ID solution will dynamically communicate to the Computerized Arrest & Booking System (CABS) linking all occurrence-based data for further cost-effective information sharing. The Imagis' Property-ID system is scheduled to be installed at Kelowna RCMP this quarter.

Preliminary market research indicates the Imagis' Property-ID Solution will substantially increase value to the Imagis' law enforcement suite of software products.
