1999/12/15 - CABS Installed In Nevada

December 1999, Vancouver - President & C.E.O. Iain Drummond announced that the Computerized Arrest & Booking System (CABS US) was installed at the Sheriff's Department in Ely, Nevada, USA.

The CABS system included connection to their field-based management software, Expediter Patrol, from Impact Solutions of San Diego, California. The CABS US system was in full operation at Ely Sheriff's Department, on December 14th, 1999.

1999/12/15 - Newmarket R.C.M.P Upgrade to CABS Version 7.0 RDS and ID-2000 Biometric Facial Recognition Software

December 1999, Vancouver - President & C.E.O. Iain Drummond announced that the Newmarket Detachment of the R.C.M.P. has upgraded to the latest version of CABS with its Regional Data Sharing Module and ID-2000 Biometric Facial Recognition Software.

Newmarket RCMP will be the host of the CABS Regional Database (RDS), which allows licensed agencies, such as the Toronto Airport Detachment, the ability to exchange criminal data and imagery.

Imagis ID-2000 face recognition technology provides the R.C.M.P. the ability to perform facial queries both locally and within the CABS RDS resulting in faster identification of repeat offenders. The Imagis' software suite was in full operation at the Newmarket Detachment in December 1999.
