The move does not impact a joint venture between Fujitsu and AMD in Japan. The joint venture, Fujitsu-AMD Semiconductor Ltd. (FASL), also makes flash memories.

Doesn't impact it but downsizes it?

Thanks for confirming that AMD lost interest in the Gresham fab. It's now becoming clear why they need to transition Austin to flash and start getting foundry services for the rest of their CPU production.
