That type of discussion is not foolish, but trying to justify the terrorist acts of Sept. 11th based on the above is foolish and very unpatriotic.

That's great, Dave, you're right at the top of your form. Nobody has denied that trying to justify the terrorist acts (on ANY bias) would be foolish and very unpatriotic. But then, nobody here has tried to justify them. Sheesh.

There is no way to rationalize the justification of Sept 11th based on issues such as slavery in the 1700s. It's just not rational.

Simply brilliant. Again, let me be clear. Nobody here has tried to justify or legitimize the particular terrorist acts of September 11, or any other terrorist acts whatsoever. To suggest so, as you and Michael Do have done, is irrational, irresponsible, and frankly highly offensive.

Dave

[EDIT: Actually, after I posted this, I noticed that Lars just mentioned some terrorism that I had been unaware of, that of some anti-Nazi rebels. But I don't really know anything about these historical incidents and can't comment. We didn't hear about this in American history class because it isn't easily painted in black and white, good vs. evil.]
