R.C.M.P Red Deer Purchase CABS Software Red Deer R.C.M.P. join CABS User Group in the Province of Alberta August 3, 2000, Vancouver - President & C.E.O. Iain Drummond announced that the Red Deer Detachment of the R.C.M.P. have purchased CABS the Computerized Arrest and Booking System Software. Project highlights include the set-up of a CABS Server License operating on the R.C.M.P. country wide ROSS Lan. Booking Stations will be set-up in both the booking area and the Remand Center, resulting in maximum efficiency for Offender processing. Future phases of the project will include connection of Red Deer Detachment to other R.C.M.P users in the province of Alberta, which include, Edmonton, Fort McMurray and Sherwood Park R.C.M.P. Their ability to exchange and share data will result in faster identification of repeat offenders and positive protection of their communities.
