Oracle's Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer
Showcases AcSys FRS at Oracle OpenWorld 2001

09:30 EST Monday, December 03, 2001

BURLINGTON, ON, Dec. 3 /CNW/ - See Nexus Group International Inc.'s (NXS:TSE) AcSys
Biometrics Corp.'s Facial Recognition System (FRS) in the spotlight at Oracle's largest trade show of the
year -- Oracle OpenWorld -- held at Moscone Center in San Francisco, December 2 - 7, 2001.

During his keynote speech on Tuesday, December 4th at 6:45 p.m., Oracle's senior vice president and
chief marketing officer, Mark Jarvis, will demonstrate AcSys FRS and introduce the inventor of AcSys
FRS core technology - - Holographic/Quantum Neural Technology (HNeT) -- John Sutherland,
president of AND Corporation and AcSys' Chief Technology Officer.

"We're going to demonstrate AcSys FRS onstage as part of my keynote, Project U, which stands for
unbreakable," said Jarvis. "Clearly, unbreakable security is critical to all companies today. We chose to
demonstrate the leading-edge technology AcSys Biometrics have created because it's incredibly
innovative."

The conference, which attracted nearly 100,000 attendees last year, offers comprehensive education for
developers, database administrators (DBAs), line-of-business executives, customers and partners.

"Behind every application of AcSys FRS is a database. AcSys FRS is an enabling technology required to
communicate with databases of all kinds. The key to the use of face recognition lies in the development of
comprehensive, shared, intelligent, watch-list databases. There obviously could be no more relevant
audience than those in attendance at the Oracle OpenWorld conference," said Jerry Janik, AcSys
president and C.E.O.

AcSys Biometrics is a joint venture between NEXUS Group International Inc. and AND Corporation,
the owner and developer of the patented, proprietary Holographic/Quantum Neural Technology (HNeT).
AcSys is the leading-edge provider of facial recognition through its exclusive worldwide license for face
and speech recognition based on the core software -- HNeT -- with applications for the financial,
manufacturing, security and medical sectors.

NEXUS is a Burlington, Ontario-based, organization focused on leading- edge technologies with a
primary focus on the security market. Its goal is to position itself as the leader in biometric technology and
other advanced fields. NEXUS trades on the Toronto Stock Exchange as NXS.
