"...until it starts speaking English, I wont be listening."
LOL! very good.

from briefing.com:
"CSFB Tech Survey : -- Before Open -- CSFB surveyed the attendees at their tech conference and found that: demand issues now outstrip supply issues with 46% of respondents citing global GDP as their primary macro focus; near-term volatility is evident as 51% expect the NASDAQ to sell off 15-20% from year-end levels in Jan. Participants did not rate the advancement of the average tech fund as high (only 10%). On a more optimistic front, participants see the 12 month prognosis as favorable with 51% believing tech will outperform the S&P 500 in 2002; names MSFT, ORCL, and DELL as the top tech plays over a 12-month horizon."

<italics are mine>
it's interesting to see the acknowledgment of real conditions by companies themselves. if investors want to pay out the wazoo for their stocks, let'em.

the trend breaks are going to be short lived for the most part, much like the downtrend that just ended in Sept. IMHO.

It never ceases to amaze me to see the number of dreamers, fibbers, exaggerators, and downright BS'ers that post on this thread......You'd think these daytrading studs were competing against with each other with their GIGANTIC fish stories.....

How many of you daytrading studs really know anyone who has made money trading stocks the last 20 months....There's a few ...sure....but the caca is so deep on this thread one can barely wade through...With the Head Hed spreading the thickest manure....

I heard on NPR today that Cal State Davis did a study and reviewed 10,000 stock accounts at discount brokerages and found that daytraders fared horribly against the buy and hold group...now that's a realistic stat.....not the bragging BS we see day after day from the cyber egomaniacs that infest this thread.....

Keep the bull crap king of the hill claims coming....... it's a kick......
