Ya Bob, I considered that as a possible reason. Or that the brokerages somehow colluded to inspire that rally so they can close some of their long exposure tomorrow morning. Love those conspiracy theories. <gg> And it figures, in a week where I've had -problems with Action Direct (Don't worry about those trades you haven't asked for, that are appearing in your account. Sorry, we're not able to tell you on-line the status of your trades, at this time.) -problems with Canada StockWatch -problems with Sympatico (pretty much every day, now) Seriously, I'm just watching the charts, waiting for a clear signal. It looked like a pull-back was imminent, but with all three indexes still showing those Weekly Hold signals, and Daily Buy signals, I'm trying to be patient and disciplined, and wait for confirmations.
