fyo, re: living room computer Yes, I too have considered it would be nice to have a system for the living room. It would be nice to have TiVO functionality to replace the old VCR and DVD would be fine (but redundant with current player). Having broadband has certainly made resolving friendly arguments or mysteries much simpler... no time to startup/dial/connect and then slow access to search for an answer of the "why is that actor/actress familiar"? So your system needs are compact and likely quiet. My "luggable" is more for convenience when I go on a trip and want to maintain the same operating environment and have access to my digital camera. For a summer trip, I just loaded up the whole computer since it was a car trip. It was fun to be able view the far too many digital photos of and by the kids. -PT
