AMD has been spending on the order of $200 million per quarter on Gresham recently. With flash down, a new partnership with UMC to provide additional capacity, and FAB 25 being targeted to provide additional flash, the Gresham investment is looking like one that AMD doesn't really need, and certainly cannot afford.
