Hi Shack.

It is becoming apparent that the markets are moving upwards in what is known in waveland as 'ending diagonals'.

You wave-riders have an indecipherable name for everything, don't you. <ggg>

This has been a pretty good time for playing long.

After about September 21st, there seemed to be dozens of compelling charts.

Now, so many of them are showing grossly overbought situations that seem likely to generate pull-backs.

We'll see.

The Nasdaq Weekly is still within a hair's breadth of confirming my buy signal.
That would be the first buy signal in something like 75 weeks.

If we do get that confirmation, I'll likely watch it for another few weeks, then I'll go with it, if it's still there.

Right now, I'm very comfortable with my portfolio; a bit of tech exposure, a bit of gold exposure, and a lot of cash.

I'd love to see a significant enough correction here to bring the stocks I'm following down out of those overbought situations.

We'll see.

Are you hanging-ten with primarily long positions, now?
