"-Insurance premiums (other than basic comprised in shaken) amount to at least yen 10,000 per month."

That's a real bargain considering that everyone in Japan drives on the wrong side of the road. I think the motorist has the best of that deal.

Hi kb,

Calling Raimundo over to the Dark Side!!!

Yikes, talk about a non-sequitor.... <ggg>

I remain......Shaken, not stirred.

FWIW,I'm trying hard not to chat politics on this thread. I've come to find the commentary on the awl patch to be astute, informed and educational. And I'm happy to narrow my focus, now that things seem to be getting back to normal, whatever that is. Howza 'bout that ENE, yowza!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Speaking of which, I was just catching up on the ENE thread here, and one poster was asking about the pipelines. If I'm at all keeping up on the news, DYN has forked over $1.5 B to ENE already and the pipelines were pledged as collateral. However, I recall reading early this month that ENE was tapping credit lines with JPM, Chase and others, an that the "pipelines" were used to secure the credit lines. Does anyone here have a clear idea of who ENE's secured creditors are and how the goodies (assets) might get divvied up? My notion is that ENE looks to be headed for the BK (and we ain't tawkin' Burger King) slaughter house with the parts coming off as the carcass moves slowly down the disassembly line. Though I could be completely wrong, and often am.... <g> But not about declining your kind offer to join you on la cara oscura, hombre. <smile>
