Does Newbury* live? Does anyone else see a strategic convergence coming between Gent's pushing the equipment makers to make phones that will serve VOD's/VZN's business customers on both sides of the Atlantic and his recent positive statements re. 3G in the UK, or am I still a hopeless romantic about the possibility of the coming into fruition of the Newbury overlay trial, now using 1xev do, or whatever Ben would call it? Ruff, slacker, MM, DaveMG, Cax, engineer, Kev, JG, Mr. Su, Paul, Harvey, et. al--I'm LOL now thinking of the endless nights I pored over every new release on the VOD UK website into the wee hours looking for hints of that the Grail was about to descend in the form of Gent's embrace of 1x. A pie eyed hopeless romantic, I cry every time I see "It's a Wonderful Life". Pity they don't show the uncut version to show Donna in the flesh when the robe comes off!! <g>
