Bus Driver Escapes Death in Bomb Blast
(IsraelNationalNews.com) Following is a description of the events prior to the attack by 23-year-old Tal Goldberg, the bus driver that escaped with light injuries.

A well dressed Arab male got on to the bus while two others that accompanied him remained at the bus stop at Um el-Fahm Junction. He recalls that the fare paid with a NIS 200 note. Other survivors of the attack confirmed the description of the suspected bomber.

Tal added that the bus was quite empty, accounting for the small number of injured despite the powerful blast.

Police add that while the location of the attack is not far from PA-controlled Jenin, known as the main base for suicide bombers affiliated with Islamic Jihad and Fatah, the possibility that the attack was the work of an Israeli Arab citizen is not being ruled out, as was the case in the Nahariya attack on Sept.9 that killed three and left 85 wounded.
