The rules (which you have to fill in to apply for public university and some private university jobs, NSF grants etc.) says "People of Middle Eastern and North African origin or of the original peoples of the Middle East are White". Or something very similar to that. So an Iranian is white and a Pashtun is Asian? or what? I'm a European and Middle Eastern mix so I had hoped to write Asian just to confuse people given some self-claimed Native Americans look even more European than me. It's just up to you what you say no tests. David
