which takes a lot of the fun out of investing.
But maybe money is more important to you at your stage

Larry, I think that would be more fun?! <g> OK, I have something to look forward to it.

Regarding Hal, I think that it's very good for you and it's a serious buz for you. I do very much appreciate your sharing.....This is the cafeteria style...or window shopping...we take/use what suits us....some of it some times...or none of it .

I should point out that lowly ole SAR has been long on the Naz Comp since 10/2. No sell signal yet, either. No magic, no black box, just lil' ol' SAR.

But SAR, no doubt, found itself sorely tested during the crash and subsequent bear market rallies. I'm sure a lot of buy signals went nowhere fast.

That's where Don's system would have come in handy, with faster signals. At that time, there were only two types of traders: the quick and dead.

A lot of people wouldn't have been prepared to ride this trend up so long, after getting shaken out during all the short-lived bear market rallies. At that time, we didn't hear much about trend-following systems from the longs. I have a hunch why, too.
