Jorjie said that 3K carry forward was low. I said that maybe the tax loss carry forward could be limited to a %age of the gross income rather than just be a flat figure.

I think that would be a good incentive to earn more in the following year.

I didn't understand the reference to mortgage deductions in the context of my post ?
