yeah, but at least I can get a hotel, rental car and flight up there now. It was getting ridiculous. My drive from the airport into the office use to take an hour, now it is 15 minutes.

Its true.

Most of apartment blocks around San Jose housed immigrants on H1 visa. My cousin, who lives in one of those aparment blocks 3 minutes away from my place has been busy for the last 2 weeks, throwing farewell lunches and dinners....for people who are returning to their countries. All apartment blocks are vacant, their rents are coming down like anything...

My husband used to leave office around 5:15 and reach home around 7:30. He now leaves at 5:45 or even later and reaches home before 6:15.

This place has really suffered in some ways. In other ways, the city had found it difficult to cope with the bubble economy.
