Yes, but if we lay off all those lazy POS's who sit around all day watching their fat cells multiply, what will they do with themselves?

I am all for reprioritizing spending....but most of it goes to social security and Medicare anyways, and it always ends up harder to do that than to say that.

The equivalent of social security deduction is called SuperAnnuation in Australia. 15% of gross salary by 2002 I think. Was 10% when i was there.

They got that one thing right on the taxation. The moneys are managed privately, just like privately managed funds. I used to like it that way. No IRA crap. No other deduction.

Superannuation, and the Medicare. Australia had a great Medicare system too.
