I would concur with that. Certainly having fellow Muslims dealing out the punishment would limit future backlash against the US...

Well, I never, ever pay the least bit of attention to Rupert Murdoch's trashy tabloid stations (he says totally sniffily <w> ) but William Safire, on the Charlie Rose Show on PBS said that he felt that our "folks" on the ground in Southern Afghanistan had the clear sense that if they apprehended OBL, that they would be demoted, with prejudice.
Safire made the point that I'm in total agreement with. To wit, jury trials, international tribunals or kangaroo courts are all superfluous to what ought to happen to OBL. Eradication with extreme prejudice is, IMO, the only course of action worth considering.
