Hi,

XP has been fun, I've installed it about 6 times now and finally have it right (touch wood) on my new computer. It was this computer that was the hardest to set up. My old Dell (same as yours) set up with everything compatible and supported so I was just lucky I guess.

I've used restore now several times and I love it. I tend to mess things up that I should have left alone in the first place. The restore function just makes me take more risks.

There is a lot of stuff not compatible with XP but is coming out at an alarming rate. In the last 3 weeks Windows Update has found me drivers for, my sound card, video card and video capture card.

Have unsigned drivers for Epson scanner and printer, printer works well but the scanner is a real run around to do, however it is working.

Yes, XP is a pleasure to use and so stable.
