The best scam that we haven't seen yet is that right now we are all getting spoon fed Pro Forma earnings because real earnings are too ugly. Next year, if earnings stabilize, they will start showing us regular GAAP earnings because they will be so much better than the billions in losses that they are afraid to report right now thus they can spin it as a huge improvement. Also see yesterday's rally, all those people being fired was bullish since they can now sit at home and buy books from AMZN on line without inconvenient interuptions from their bosses. The Fed is assuring us that things will be better yet is panicing and printing money in larger and larger loads. Heck just look at the injections this week so far....
