According to the "Impeach George Bush" thread, it's George Bush's depression, which began in March. I think they need to be held to explain in explicit detail what George Bush did between Jan 20 and March to cause something that had been predicted for some time before that. The liberals are well aware of the public's short memory, easy confusion over numbers (thanks to our education system), and the power of repetition of lies becoming the truth. Yes, the 2002 campaign is on, and the liberals are revving up both financially and propaganda-wise. Daschle and his cronies don't want the recession to end soon, because it will be a good (or their only) 2002 campaign platform, so they're going to close down the Senate in December to go fundraising instead of enacting legislation to get us out of the recession. Real bipartisan and patriotic, huh? For the past 20 years or so, many Democrats have put party over country. They talk a lot about "hate," because they're so familiar with it. You only have to look at a few threads right here on SI, like "Impeach George Bush," to see the type of hatred exhibited by the left, right here at home.
