Cosmo, sorry to hear about your misfortune. I hope you don't mind but I have a few thoughts to share about your BZH short.

BZH was selling above its 200 day moving average. This is very bullish for a stock. We have been witnessing a breakout. A very bullish move. You probably recognized this and thought you'd time the profit taking move. I think it's a good idea, but I've mentioned before that timing is what I'm trying to focus on and trying to perfect.

The three white soldiers are a good setup for a short position but you must wait to see how the open goes on the fourth day. Today BZH performed what is known as the gap and trap on the shorts. Waiting for the open would have made all the difference in the world.

The hardest thing for me to learn from TA was learning to trade what I see, not what I think. BZH shows nothing but strength and has for the last several days. There's nothing wrong with waiting for the reversal sign. Reversals around lines of support or resistance are where positions should be taken up most of the time.

I'm confident you'll get some payback!

Cosmo: Make it up on GM when it closes the gap or if you want to wait on the 200 day ema and it hits it.

If I were going to buy a car next year someone would have to make me a real sweet deal, just like my next vacation. Pricing power is dead and will actually start down into the ground if/when the Japanese get past the idea of needing permission to inflate the yen. If I didn't respect technicals I'd short GM right now.
