yea frank, this whole copper thing looks like the aluminums last year and opec in 1999.

seems to be a concerted effort by all phases of copper production to cut back supply. after so many years it just came down to economic survival. i think some spinsters might call it "right sizing" their companies to lower their break even points and go for some profit in the copper biz (for a change). we saw the al stocks move up last year and this year as a result, and the oils did will for 1999 and 2000.
