many thanks for that Qua...great piece. Apparently that was written during the 1st Wilburys effort. I guess with the chart success of "1" last year we can agree that yet another generation has discovered the Beatles and made them their own. Also interesting to note George's respect for Dylan and his unparalleled wisdom and insight

Dylan is so brilliant. To me, he makes William Shakespeare look like Billy Joel. - I couldn't agree more with that statement

Isn't it a pity
Now, isn't it a shame
How we break each other's hearts
And cause each other pain
How we take each other's love
Without thinking anymore
Forgetting to give back
Isn't it a pity
Some things take so long
But how do I explain
When not too many people
Can see we're all the same
And because of all their tears
Their eyes can't hope to see
The beauty that surrounds them
Isn't it a pity

Isn't it a pity
Isn't is a shame
How we break each other's hearts
And cause each other pain
How we take each other's love
Without thinking anymore
Forgetting to give back
Isn't it a pity

Forgetting to give back
Isn't it a pity
Forgetting to give back
Now, isn't it a pity

(6 times, fade the 6th:)
What a pity
What a pity, pity, pity
What a pity
What a pity, pity, pity

-George
