And the reporters are in less of a position to do that every time they act like idiots. With media outlets no longer a scarce commodity, I am less worried about the media's imbecility than I used to be.

That is a problem, isn't it? I always hope that people are smart enough to see through their crap but that doesn't appear to be the case. Sad.
