Thanks for posting Lewis' column. He usually covers the point of view from Europe. It is interesting that the hawkish Safire is in agreement on this. Most likely, it will get tested before the Supremes.

The assumption being the military cannot be trusted to adhere to constitutional principles. Pretty shallow insult to all those who are currently putting their life on the line to end Bin Ladin's tryanny.

Dear Chris: I agree with that article. In today's paper it also states that President Bush has post poned the opening of the Regan memoirs which were to become public this year. He does a lot of unilateral stuff that makes me very worried. Thanks for posting that article. Suma Oh one more thing. Molly Ivins in an editorial today quoted the problem we are facing with the Northern Alliance killing Pakistani's and how Marsharef may be overthrown by the fundamentalists.... She just labeld the article...a few more things to worry about.
