Fear of getting caught in a collapse holding back the MUFU's? They should be buying them up but they aren't. Or they are not succeeding if they are. Bear dreams maybe, maybe not.

It doesn't always happen, though. For example, October ended with a whimper instead of a bang.

I would simply guess that we had too much up yesterday, and therefore there's no more up to go today as the market got all of that upward pressure out of its gut yesterday, kind of like a burp. <g>

On that 30 day moving average question, I've never heard of anyone using that one. The 10, 20, 50 and 200 seem to be the ones most commonly used and sometimes I see the 13 used (don't ask me why about that last one).
