Yes. I'm only half surprised the Democrats haven't applied for 911 relief funds. Probably only because they haven't thought of it -- yet.<g>

I expect Hillary to make the plea soon.

Speaking of campaign fundraising, isn't it ironic that in recent history, Democrats accused Republicans of "buying" Congressional seats and the White House through big donors, and in this last cycle there were liberal Democrats, e.g. Corzine (NJ), Clinton (NY), and the software exec. (WA) (can't recall her name) who literally bought seats.

This link was e-mailed to me today, and it reminded me how much dough the liberal Democrats have, compared to some poor republicans like Lazio who still have debts to pay:

Seems the least Hillary could do in the spirit of bipartisanship and liberalism is to retire Lazio's debt. :) If she won't, Republicans ought to at least help out their vanquished as a sign of solidarity, imho.
