My gosh the SEC took a long time getting around to this.

re. the question of whose scam it was: It appears from Evans' article that the SEC's suit focuses primarily on the LFT part of the story, not the business operations of HITT, as lousy as they were.

Reed got sued earlier by the FTC for an operation that later developed into the HITT business operations, not for something that resembled HITT's dealings with LFT.

So I don't think that the existence of the earlier FTC suit shows that it was Reed and not Bradford who orchestrated the LFT scam.

Lots of luck collecting the $1 M from the horse lady. Maybe they'll accept a diamond tennis bracelet as partial payment?
