I have a buddy who knew him and he's a sports reporter so I'll find out. A couple of years ago a bunch of alumni from my high school formed an old boy's club to get together, cause we were tired of seeing each other only at our parents funerals. At dinner after golf, a guy whose been only a Gordie Howe fan since we were five was at the table and it had been ten years since I asked him about whether Gretsky was better. I always picked anyone else hot at the moment just to be agrumentative, Hull, Big M, Richard. He finally was breaking down when I asked the fourth at the table what he thought. My reporter buddy said that wasn't fair as Howe and Gretsky won only 4 cups and the guy we were asking is one of only two I know who have won five. Guy Lafleur didn't go to school in TO. Can you guess? BTW it was Tim Horton who gave us all those sticks. Heaven is when you're 11 and Tim Horton moves in across the street from you. Better that he only has daughters and loves roughousing with all the boys in the neighbourhood. So just in keeping with where we are let me just comment that the stock market has about as much chance of success as the Leafs over the next seven months. Bob
