I hope you understand that I, too, think that Professor Pharr is a debilitated thinker/researcher. I know several talented high school graduates who have opted to self-educate while taking advantage of nice salaries in the technical area rather than spend time having to listen to such professors. And many who are in well-ranked programs have told me that they learn more over the summer, while reading eclectically, than they did the whole university year. Sad.
