A Demonstration on MACD settings I posted on another thread. I don't think different macd setting matter too much....I've spent lots of time playing around w/ them. I do like a 60min MACD crossover signal for alerts however. I think it is a useful indicator but must be used with other indicators. Here are some examples and a demonstration on how different macd settings don't change the picture much....IMO users.lvcm.com
