No doubt it's more extreme, and I think it will disappear in time.

There is an substantive element of the population that wants change sooner. However, I didn't realize the religious pitchmen still had so much power. It will be interesting to see who wins out.

I hope so. It already has made substantial progress over the past few years. But I think any further progress would require abandoning theocracy and bracing democracy. I look very much forward to such a day.
