You must not have spent much time near universities lately. The large and small liberal arts institutions are probably the worst violators (Harvard, Princeton, Yale, Swarthmore, Amherst) but state universities (Cal in the People's Republic of Berkeley, University of Michigan, etc.)are pretty much the same. The only schools or students who probably miss out on the nonsense of higher education are those in the hard sciences, engineering and professions. Business schools rarely suffer from the disease of political correctness, but have their own brand of species specific nonsense.

Lynn Cheney published something recently (noted on a board around here, maybe this one) but here is a starting point:
