The only thing amazing is the level of naivete you display. Hawk, it sure is. I am laughing with you. We need to laugh. As said in recent posts I paid a visit to the Ukraine. Social visit, family christening. Met some FSU guys. We decided to go for a few beers after the formalities [Ukraine beer btw ACE as they shipped the breweries from Germany after WW2] and shot the breeze as it were. First some Ukrainian said " I love Pinochet, at least he killed all the goddam communists, and then started elections for a real democracy, GOD BLESS PINOCHET" Then we talked a little about (not disclosing any secrets of our respective countries btw) the scope of what we "knew". It covered a lot. We all knew nothing except good company and good beer. -g-
