Can anyone explain the problem with the beetle infested trees. I understand that they eventually kill the tree and therefore should be eliminated buy why can't the trees be cut and turned into 2 x 4s for construction in Canada. The TV keeps showing the beetles just under the bark in the moist outer layers of the tree, strip the bark off, fire up the beehive burners and roast the beetles and their eggs.

>>Tax-loss time, guys ... a time for lying in wait real quiet.

But don't hold your breath .. I have a feeling there will be very little tax-loss selling this year. My understanding is that people take losses to offset the gains they took earlier in the year.. Not many gains to offset this year, I fear.
