the yields may be of an issue but the only sources for the news is the inquirer. The rest quote high demand as a reason for move rather than short supply. The link that you provided said:
" The latter's capacity at .15 micron is nearly booked, which is one of the reasons Nvidia is looking around for another production source, analysts said."

Thoroughbred to be 333 FSB?

The KT333 support PC2700 DDR and ATA-133. Interesting is that the 0.13 micron Athlon XP CPU's (Thoroughbred) will probably see the daylight at that time. So it is likely that Thoroughbred will come with a 166 MHz DDR interface.
