To All, We had a great time at Texas Champions Day at the track last night. My betting stank the house out, but I did get to talk up and close and personal with The Houston Texans cheerleaders. I don't believe in cheerleaders for NFL teams, but these were babes. <g>

Now, if I can just figure out how a horse beats another horse by seven lengths, and then, three weeks later, gets beaten by seven lengths, I'll be rich. <g>

Football was fun again, though I missed all the games due to the overwhelming urge to horse around, so this is just off the highlight films. Miami looked beatable, but wasn't. Tennessee and Colorado both stood up to be counted. LSU made the SEC Championship game, when for a while this season they looked like they might not make a bowl. Texas blew it. What else is new? Oregon/Oregon State was fun. UCLA is wondering whether they'll get a bowl. Penn State had quite a comeback season.

So, it looks like Miami will face Tennessee if Tennessee wins. If not, either Nebraska or Oregon.

The Division 1AA playoffs were good, with Georgia Southern and Lehigh both winning. I hope I see some of those games.
