OPEC is the number one reason why we are where we are today. All other finger pointing is useless and trivial (and yes, AG was slow on the trigger but if you look back a few years, you will find his economic models that he has relied upon for his decisions had become obsolete, to the point he was piloting this economy semi-blind).

I suppose in a perfect world a recession is avoidable. But there's always been a business cycle, I don't think we can ever get away from it.
