A device that can climb stairs is definitely a big whoop -- if that device is attached to a wheelchair, and you're in it, and it means the difference between being able to get to your second floor job, or your 3rd-floor doctor's office, in buildings that don't have elevators. Something that most of us take for granted -- being able to walk up a flight of stairs if we have to -- is routinely denied to people in wheelchairs. Despite many gains in buildings being made accessible there are still millions of buildings in the U.S. that don't have elevators or wheelchair ramps. -- Exedous
