Explosion on Ben-Yehuda street in Jerusalem; dozens injured

By Ha'aretz Service

An explosive device detonated Saturday night on Jerusalem's Ben Yehuda street. A Magen David Adom spokesman said that many people were injured.

Ambulances and resuce services are on the way to the scene, and the road has been closed off to all traffic. The Jerusalem fire chief Moshe Suissa, who was nearby when the explosion took place, said that there were two explosions in quick succession close to the junction with King George Street.

Preliminary reports suggest that there may be further further explosive devices in the area.

I agree with you, I am not in favor of those social ills either.

Israel is more a well-armed and financed cult than a democracy.

I am an American with no connection to Arab culture; born and raised.

Under any economic system, it is required that you take care of your people or else you will find yourself out of office or dead. The same applies to any system the Arabs choose.

When they chose a Western society to build as their infrastructure, they exposed themselves to be subverted by a larger system that could control them. This exposure should be avoided by all countries, even those on the dole, like the cult.
