Not strikes by parochial teachers....these lowly paid idealists are usually characterized by the conservative movement as teachers who do it for the love of teaching children. Parochial schools are very important to conservatives since they would benefit most from a voucher system and they also have prayer in school. And aren't they also supposed to produce smarter students.... But as for the Philly story, it will be big news if the threat is actually carried out...I think your post said the parents are against it.....if that means most of the parents they will win because they are voters and the new governor no doubt likes his job.
