My point is this: Roughly the same time that Arabs were leaving Israel, Germans were forced from their homes in Eastern Germany (as former German lands became Polish), by the Polish Government. Cities, towns and villages were renamed and given Polish names. Poles, I presume, moved into empty homes that once belonged to Germans. Now one could argue that the new border is roughly the same as the Polish border that existed around 1100 AD, but the fact is many germans became "dispossed".

At the same time, millions of Indians and Pakistanis were forced to their leave homes, as the country divided into muslim north, and hindu (mostly) south.

I not saying that Palestinians don't have legitimate claims...I just have no idea how to put toothpaste back in the tube.
