Very nice game for VT. After the way Miami humiliated Washington and SU the past couple of weeks, this game shows that VT can be competitive with the best in the country.

gregor had this game pegged when he mentioned that VT's defense would give Miami a problem. I didn't think anybody could slow down the Hurricane machine after watching them score at will against a couple of pretty fair teams.

You guy's should handle Fla St in the Gator. Pulling for my Big East brothers.

Hi Wildstar, competent was a nice way of saying mediocre. So we are in agreement. I was talking to someone @ the game and they say Clifton has a very strong arm. Here's to a wide open spring position battle for the QB.

As for the BCS I hope this year will show that such a contrived way to determine the national championship will spark a movement towards a playoff system. There has to be a way to incorporate the lesser bowls(many which lose $$) into a NCAA B-ball format which culminates with the big four bowls.

Congrats for KJ for Big East rookie of the year...
