WT.T is kind of interesting. Found them because of the KING tie in with Norris Harris. KING sorta dormant right now, maybe Harris spending all his time on Westfort, I don't know, but there is always the possibility of some sort of deal between the two.

I have no position in either at the moment, just DD'ing "out loud", and watching both closely.

Mr. Norris Harris reports
Westfort Energy has released the results of its first two weeks under new management.
The executive committee of the board of directors that will meet monthly with the president to review pending projects and management recommendations has been designated and is in place.
J.R. Hood has been appointed production superintendent for the company in charge of all the company's production. The review of all the company's wells is in progress. Thus far, Mr. Hood, in collaboration with Mike Tierney, the company's consultant petroleum engineer, and other personnel, have identified five wells in Pelahatchie field, the workovers of which are projected to cost less than $150,000 (U.S.). It is the opinion of the above experts that these workovers should result in a dramatic increase in daily oil production. The first of these workovers is under way.
The study of the remainder of the company's wells in the Pelahatchie, Pickens and Gillsburg fields is continuing.
Densing Exploration Co., Inc. has completed, and Westfort has received, the design of the previously announced 3-D seismic survey for the Pelahatchie field. A bid package is being sent to four geophysical contractors. The timetable that has been established provides for bids to be received prior to Dec. 21, 2001. After review with the executive committee, the selected contractor will be notified on or before Jan. 12, 2002. Upon the signing of the contract, work on the 3-D seismic survey will be commenced as soon as weather permits.
Discussions are under way with two potential joint venture partners with interest in participating with the company in the development of Pickens field.
A financing plan for the company is being finalized for submission to three interested financial groups.
WARNING: The company relies upon litigation protection for "forward-looking" statements.
