The US wants a US puppet regime in Iraq. This is the grossest form of imperialism that reminds me of British actions in the 19th century. BTW Iraq is a secular regime that has always bitterly opposed Islamic fundamentalism. That is what their war with Iran was all about. A US attack on Iraq would reveal to all the war on terror really is just a cover for far reaching US imperial ambitions. The entire Middle East could explode if these plans go forward.
